More detail on this person: Richard "Dick" F. Reber, Jr Richard "Dick" F. Reber, Jr., Branson West, MO, son of Richard and Mary (Worthen) Reber was born January 15, 1951 in Granite City, IL and departed this life December 12, 2011, in his home, at the age of 60. Dick was a retired pilot and also worked extensively with emergency management locally. He had lived in the area the past 11 years coming from Georgia. Dick was a Vietnam Veteran and passionate about his country. He was a member of and helped start the Stone County Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT). He also helped to re-instate the Civil Air Patrol in Stone County. Dick was preceded in death by his father and three brothers. Survivors include: his mother, Mary Reber of Granite City, IL; one son, Zachary Reber of Branson West, MO; one daughter, Erin Owen and husband, Joshua of Branson West, MO; one sister, Karen Lengyel and husband, Jim of Maryville, IL; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
