More detail on this person: Robert Lawrence Rinnert, 60 Rinnert Tulsa World (OK) - Friday, February 25, 2005 RINNERT -- Robert Lawrence, 60, entered eternal life on January 21, 2005. Bob was born March 27, 1944, in Checotah, OK, graduated from Tulsa Central High School and attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, OK. In 1967 he served with the U.S. Army 7th Cavalry in Vietnam and later 1st Cavalry in Korea and Ft. Hood, TX, attaining the rank of CWO. After leaving the Army he was employed with Chevron Oil aviation operations in New Orleans. Flying was the joy of his life, and he continued flying over the years with several companies located in Texas and Louisiana. In keeping with his entrepreneurial spirit, he was also the owner of Checkers Pizza in Killeen and Austin, TX, as well as Bogalusa, LA. Bob is survived by: his sister, Nancy Nunneley and her husband, Jerry of San Antonio; 2 nephews, Jerry Nunneley Jr. (Jill) and Larry Nunneley (Sherri); and 5 great-nieces and nephews, Jerritt, Jacob, Jeanette, Megan, and Eli, all of San Antonio; and many special cousins; and close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Juanita and Lawrence Rinnert of Tulsa, OK. Graveside service will be held in Tyler, TX, at Tyler Memorial Cemetery, Saturday, February 26, at 10 a.m., with Bro. Bill Stuart officiating. Memorial Funeral Home.
