More detail on this person: Edward A. Rakeman Edward A. Rakeman Daily Herald, The (Everett, WA) - Thursday, September 16, 2004 WA United States Edward A. Rakeman Edward A. Rackeman, 73, born December 25, 1930, passed away September 4, 2004 of heart failure. A native of Seattle, he is survived by his son Edward Raymond Rakeman of Phoenix airzona; daughter Kristine Istwan, son-in-law Robert Istwan, and "granddog, Jackson" of Huntington Beach, California. Ed will truly be missed by his family as well as his girl friend, Nita Johansen, her family, and the many friends he leaves behind. Ed graduated from the U. of W. He served his country in the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard, in both Korea and Vietnam. His sense of humor and wit will leave us with fond memories and a smile. A memorial service will be held at University Presbyterian Church, in the Calvin Lounge, 4540 15th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA, Friday, September 17th at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
