More detail on this person: Biagio "Bud" Rao is now encircled in the arms of God's love. He passed from this life to Eternal Life surrounded by family at his home on April 15th, 2015, at 11:15 p.m.

Bud was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 4th, 1943. He was a loving husband to his wife of fifty years, a tremendous father to his three boys, and a matchless friend to countless people with whom he interacted throughout his storied life. He was also a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, a Policeman, and a Special Agent for the U.S. Department of State, as well as an Investigator for the Office of Personnel Management, and an Elder in the RLDS church.

Bud is succeeded by his wife Diane, his son James and wife Robin and their three children (Jacob, Jeremy, and Emma), his son Sean and wife Lisa and daughter (Kate), and his brother Joe and his wife Joyce, and sister-in-law Phyllis Snow and family. He was preceded in death by his son Rick and parents Mary and Rocky.

A memorial service will be held at the Outreach Restoration Branch, 723 South Crysler Avenue, Independence, MO, 64052, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015. Flowers or other expressions of condolence may be sent to the church between noon and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, if so desired.
