More detail on this person: MORRIS GENE 'ROBBY' ROBBINS RETIRED LT. COL. MORRIS GENE 'ROBBY' ROBBINS Lt. Col. Robbins, 69, died Oct. 18, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired Marine Corps Pilot and intelligence officer, having served in the Marine Corps for 28 years. Lt. Col. Robbins was born March 25, 1932, in Shreveport, La., to Henry Charles and Jewel (Richardson) Robbins, who are deceased. He was married to Virginia Lee Weaver, who is deceased. He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Thompson and Robin Robbins; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Rodriquez. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area A, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
