More detail on this person: AH-64 first Army death in the AH-64 in 1987. This is my brother CW4 Ronald Rivera. He died on Friday, in Fort Rucker, Alabama on August 21, 1987. He was a helicopter pilot instructor. He was in the middle of training when the bolt of the router popped and the air craft went down. He had a student in the craft and crash resulted in the death of my brother and the student was paralyzed. My brother's birthday was August 6, 1951.
