More detail on this person: Robert Earle Strong Funeral services for Robert Earle Strong, 70, of Houma will be at 11AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi with Rev. Bernard Duchesne Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM Saturday until time of service. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Strong died Tuesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was am Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a retired offshore Helicopter pilot, a member of Dunn Baptist Church and preceded in death by his father, Robert Harvey Strong. He is survived by his wife, Betty Adams Strong of Houma; three daughters, Teri S. Grantham of Shreveport, Lisa Showalter of Houston, TX and Wendy Soudelier of Houma; two sons, Gene Strong of Shreveport and Cyrus Trosclair Jr. of Houston, TX; his mother Alice P. Strong of Delhi; two sisters, Merle Curry of Delhi and Sandra Sanders of Jena, LA; one brothe James T. "Jimmy" Strong of Delhi; and five grandchildren Kacie Soudelier, Jessica Soudelier, Megan Soudelier, Elliott Strong and Ben Lonadier. Pallbearers will be Morris Soudelier, Jeff Showalter, Elliott Strong, Ben Lonadier, J. T. Strong and Austyn Davis.
