More detail on this person: GARY R. SORRELLS Gary R. Sorrells, age 59, passed away Oct. 12, 2004. Gary was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a Cobra helicopter pilot. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism, the Bronze Star, 24 air medals w/v Device for Heroism and Army Commendation medal w/v Device for Heroism. He is predeceased by his father, Grant R. Sorrells. Gary is survived by his mother, Dorothy D. McDowell of Hemet, CA; brother, Ronald B. Sorrells of Jacksonville, FL; and nephew, Scott R. Sorrells of New Cumberland, PA. There will be no services. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in California.
