More detail on this person: Mike Stark, July 31, 1946 - April 4, 2008. Those of us who knew Mike Stark, better known as "the Colonel" or "Falcon 6," are not feeling sorry for him or his family as much as we are feeling sorry for ourselves, because we will no longer share his extraord-inary company. That is perhaps the best indication of the quality life, one that gave so much pleasure to others. Mike was a man of substance, a man with an insatiable curiosity, and a man who had a passion for life. He is survived by his two sons, John and Jason; his loving wife, Cindy; his sister Susie and brother-in-law, Steve Young; his brother, Robert; and sister, Jayne. Mike had a distinguished military career and retired as Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army. Mike's remarkable life will be remembered by everyone who ever met him. He will be greatly missed. A private service will be held at a later date. In celebration of Mike's life, donations can be made to: The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., North Maple Street, Post 5095, Cobra Fund, East Hampton, CT 06424.
