More detail on this person: Stephen J Snow, 66 Stephen J. Snow High Timber Times (Conifer, CO) - Tuesday, December 20, 2011 Stephen J. Snow of Pine passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 15, 2011, at only 66 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Andreyka Snow and the cherished father of Alissa Skildheim of Evergreen and Maj. Marcus Snow of Lancaster, Pa. He was worshiped by his three grandsons, Eirik Skildheim, Karsten Skildheim and David Snow. Stephen accomplished more in his lifetime than most people would think possible for one person. He was born in Fond du Lac, Wis., on Nov. 21, 1945. He grew up in Phoenix, Ariz., in a loving home with six brothers and sisters. He graduated from ASU and became an Army officer. He embarked on a distinguished military career that began as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. After 26 years of service to his country, he settled in Loudoun County ,Va., just outside of Washington, D.C., where he worked as director of training for the American Red Cross and then Qualcomm. Stephen had always felt the need to serve and entered into politics and became the Dulles district supervisor for Loudoun County. After leaving his mark in politics, he retired to Pine and lived 3 1/2 years in his beloved ́paradise in the mountains.î Many special moments were made with his family here, and we will continue the tradition of happy memories at 3 Margaritas! He was a person of the highest integrity and unmatched charm. He was dynamic and passionate and made an impact on all who were fortunate enough to meet him, love him and be raised by him. He will be missed beyond words. A memorial service will be held at Horan & McConaty in Lakewood on Dec. 28, 2011, at 11 a.m. Stephen will be buried with full military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
