More detail on this person: I am not aware that my dad ever flew helos. He was a C-7 Caribou pilot during one Viet Nam tour. He had previously flown B-25s, B-29s, B-36s, and KC-97s. He served as a Typhoon hunter on Guam in the early 50s and flew B-36s out of Fairchild, AFB with SAC in the mid 50s. He was stationed at Westover, AFB, in the later 50s and at Redstone Arsonal, AL where he earned the Missle Badge at the end of the 50s. He spent the early 60s in MacDill, AFB flying tankers and running base Services. He was later transferred to Hickam and Wright Patterson AFBs. He retired as a Command Pilot with more than 20,000 hours of logged flight time.
