More detail on this person: William E. Shoults,
73, of Panama City Beach, went to be with his Lord
and Savior, Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Covenant
Hospice at Bay Medical. Bill was born in Mt.
Vernon, OH, and lived in Panama City Beach for the
last 19 years. He retired from the US Army as a
helicopter pilot with the rank of Major after 22
years service. After his military career, Bill
worked until retirement with Sikorsky Aircraft
Corporation. He loved learning, and earned several
degrees, including a MBA from Auburn University.
Bill enjoyed books, reading, gardening, and yard
work, and was a member of the First Assembly of
God of Panama City Beach.
He was preceded in death by his father, William
Shoults; his mother and step-father, Jennie and
Frank Hawkins; a brother, Phillip Hawkins; and his
beloved son, William Ericson Shoults in 1995.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sheila E.
Shoults of Panama City Beach; his daughter,
Kimberly Shawn Pheanis and husband Michael of
St. Petersburg; his grandchildren, Jason Shoults
and wife Jennifer, Beau Shoults and wife Lindsey
and Amber Motta; and his great-grandchildren,
Janie, Jackson, and Forrest Shoults.
A graveside funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM
Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Forest Lawn
Memorial Cemetery with Brother Paul Ensminger
officiating. Interment will follow. The family
will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday,
October 23, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
