More detail on this person: Leo K. Seale Leo K. Seale, Lt. Col., U.S. Army (Ret.), 64, husband, father and grandfather, brother, and decorated military officer, died with his wife at his side on June 6, 2012, in White Plains, MD after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Clewiston, FL, Leo attended public schools in Jacksonville, FL where he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, after which he enlisted in the United States Army. Leo considered service to his country to be his highest privilege. After overseas tours in Viet Nam and Korea, his Army career afforded him the opportunity to earn his B.S. degree cum laude at Florida State University and two M.S. degrees from UCLA. After graduation from the Command and General Staff College, additional tours of duty included command assignments at Ft. Leavenworth, KS; Ft. Sill, OK; and Ft. Bragg, NC. He completed his military career at the Pentagon, where he served on the Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Steering Committee which developed the architecture for an integrated framework to concurrently serve intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance needs for military operations in multiple theatres. After retirement from active duty, Leo continued service to his country in strategic planning and quantitative analysis at a company providing advanced systems engineering, integration and decision-support services to the Intelligence Community, Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, and civilian agencies of the federal government. Leo was the fifth child of Benajah E. and Bauza Lee Seale (deceased) and is the brother of Benajah E. Seale, Jr., PhD, Taipei, Taiwan; Catherine E. Nolan, Rhinebeck, NY; Thomas Michael Seale (Jan), Acworth, GA; and Patricia Lee Muench (Larry), Dothan, AL. He is survived by his wife Wanda Sue, whose love and devotion, strength of character, and sense of humor, in combination with his strong Christian faith, gave him the strength and inspiration to carry on; his son Leo Seale, Jr., whose own faith, compassion, and kindness toward others he deeply admired and respected; his daughter Khrista Bennett (Bill), whose love for her family and her commitment to personal growth gave him hope for the future generations of his family; his step-daughter Melodee Wilson (Jamie) and her son McCain; and his six grandchildren, who never failed to energize him and fill his heart with joy. His brothers- and sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him.
