More detail on this person: Brett I Sayers The funeral service for Brett I. Sayers, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Sayers, Wheeler Rd., LaGrange will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Russell D. Fulton Funeral Home, Grafton, Ralph Pitkin, reader of First Church of Christ Scientist, Elyria, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Mr. Sayers, a mail pilot employed by a private airline as a mail pilot on the Tallahassee, Fla. to Atlanta, Ga., route was killed yesterday when his trainer plane crashed neat Bainbridge, Ga. It has not been determined whether he or his student co-pilot was flying the plane. Mr. Sayers attended Bowling Green State University after graduating from LaGrange High School. Surviving besides those name yesterday are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Sayers of Elyria. Friends will be received at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The casket will be closed at all times. Chronicle Telegram, The {Elyria, Ohio} February 8, 1973
