More detail on this person: Jack L C Schneider, 81 Jack L.C. Schneider Daily News, The (Longview, WA) - Wednesday, September 15, 2004 Jack L.C. Schneider, 81, of San Diego died Aug. 23, 2004. He was born July 11, 1923, in Kelso and graduated from Kelso High School in 1941. Mr. Schneider served in the Navy for 30 years. He retired as a lieutenant commander in 1971. He married Myrtle Johnson in April 1943. She preceded him in death in 2002. Mr. Schneider is survived by two daughters, Carol Goode and Jackie Schneider; a son, Carl Schneider; a sister, Peggy Tidd; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A private service was held Aug. 28 at the Greenwood Garden of Valor at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego.
