More detail on this person: Jerry Paul Schuerenberg Jerry Paul Schuerenberg, 70, of Ashland passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. There will be a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, at Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born June 14, 1942, in Olmsted, Ill., and was the son of the late Walter Paul and Hazel Christine (Byers) Schuerenberg. Jerry married Janice Gilmer in Cape Girardeau on Oct. 31, 1964, and she survives. He also is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Lee Whitworth and Heather Dawn Willman, both of Ashland; one brother, Jimmy Stafford of Illinois; six grandchildren, Amanda Whitworth, Alex Whitworth, Jessica Whitworth, Jacquelyn Whitworth, Samantha Whitworth and John Willman, all of Ashland. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Chism; and his parents. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
