Smith, 50, of Allentown died Sunday, Feb. 8, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. A 1969 graduate of Clemson (S.C.) University, he was a computer programmer and salesman for Colonial Systems, Exton, Chester County, for 10 years until 1994. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Donald W. and Caroline P. (Prendinger) Smith. He served in the Army for 13 years, including service as a MedEvac pilot during the Vietnam War. Survivors: Daughter, Danielle L., and former wife, Jo Anne (Rabun) Smith, both of Manassas, Va. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. No calling hours. Contributions: American Cancer Society, Allentown.
