More detail on this person: Captain Bob was a part of our unit, "Pipesmoke Rescue & Recovery". He was promoted to Cpt. in country. He was a top notch pilot and a great fellow. We were both put in for the DFC as a result of the same mission. He was AC of the CH47 and I was AC of the UH1H. We both reviewed the citation, editing the names and ranks of our crew then we never heard any more about it, "lost paperwork"???

Anyway, I just found out that Cpt. Stoker is deceased thru your website (what a great website by the way). I really want to attend a reunion but I'm not sure I'm ready YET. Thanks guys!!

From: CWO Joel L. Nicoll (Mr. Lucky-Pipesmoke One)
