More detail on this person: Donald Stephen Strickler, 66 STRICKLER Donald Stephen Strickler Vietnam helicopter pilot Star-Ledger, The (Newark, NJ) - Tuesday, July 3, 2007 Army captain, 66 Donald Stephen Strickler, 66, of Little Egg Harbor died Friday, June 29, at his home. A memorial service will be held on July 6, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arnytown. Arrangements are under the care of Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor. Donald was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Reverend and Mrs. Donald Strickler. He had seven years of honorable military service as a captain in the U.S. Army, and served as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. Donald is survived by three children, his son, Michael of Dover, Del., his daughter, Tracy Csillag of Toms River and his son, Matthew of New York City. In addition, he leaves behind a sister, Irene Harris of Cape Cod, Mass.; a brother, Jimmy of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Carol Harrison of Jersey City, and seven grandsons, Domynic, Noah, Steven, Brian, Michael, Carson and Phoenix.
