More detail on this person: Ret'd LTC Terry Swink, 73, Johnson City, went to his rest and to await the soon coming of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 21, 2014. While at Mountain Home VA . Hospice during the past three months, he was treated with kindness . and dignity and "as family" by staff. For this; he was grateful every day. Always, he was aware of the blessings in life, a very positive influence to everyone who knew him.

Terry was a native Of Johnson City and was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Fred Swink and Lena Blevins VanHuss and step-father, B.F. VanHuss, Sr.; and a brother, William Archie (Bill) Swink. After the brothers retired, they enjoyed meeting and eating breakfast together frequently. Keeping connected to family was an important life principle for Terry.
