More detail on this person: U-8 accident just southwest of Marshall AAF, Fort Riley, KS., between the airfield and the plaza with Jack Carpenter. Jim worked with me at Fort Riley when this accident occurred. The accident occurred 11/05/77, just southwest of Marshall AAF, Fort Riley, KS., between the airfield and the plaza. It is the same accident that killed Jack Carpenter.

Jim was a CW3 at the time of his death and was just six months from retirement.

He was the Pilot in command at the time of the accident and Jack Carpenter was the Co-pilot.
