More detail on this person: Col Stockton suffered a massive heart attack and did not survive. Col Stockton was the first commander of the 1st of the 9th Cavalry Airmobile in Viet Nam. He will be sorely missed.



Initial plans are for cremation with the ashes to be scattered into the Atlantic Ocean per his request.

His "FIRST" tour in Vietnam would have been 1/9 CAV. The CAV had not yet deployed to RVN when he was with the other units.
