More detail on this person: Lawrence E Sherman, 72 Lawrence E. Sherman Rites Rutland Herald (VT) - Tuesday, June 3, 2008 BRANDON - The funeral service for retired U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Lawrence E. "Larry" Sherman, 72, who died May 28, 2008, was held Monday, June 2, at Brandon Congregational Church. The Rev. Richard White, pastor, officiated. Organist was Bonnie Johnson. His brother-in-law, Jack West, delivered the eulogy. A reception followed in the church hall. Private burial with military honors took place in Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center. Bearers included Matthew Hickey, Evan Hickey, Robert Birmingham, Tom Hickey, Nick Birmingham and Charles Memoe.
