More detail on this person: Mr Michael Truchon, 74 Michael Truchon Dothan Eagle, The (AL) - Saturday, June 3, 2006 AL United States CW3 (Ret.) Michael Truchon of Bellwood passed away Friday, June 2, 2006, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was 74. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, from St. John Catholic Church with Father Jim Dane officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Truchon was born in Shickshinny, Penn., to the late John Truchon and Mary Kevish Truchon. He served our country in the U.S. Army for 20 years, serving four tours - two in Korea and two in Viet Nam. Survivors include his wife, Rose Truchon of Bellwood; his mother, Mary Truchon of Shickshinny; one son, David Truchon of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Tina Truchon and Michele Phillips (Jimmy) of Bellwood; one brother, George Truchon of Shickshinny; two sisters, Irene Wilcox of Clifton, N.J., and Helen Meany of West Milford, N.J.; two grandchildren, Brad Phillips and Kristina Phillips of Bellwood.
