More detail on this person: LEWIS ROBERT TRUHAN LEWIS ROBERT TRUHAN Knoxville News Sentinel (TN) - Wednesday, August 27, 2014 TRUHAN, LEWIS ROBERT (LEW) - age 65, of Knoxville, lost his courageous battle with cancer on August 24th, 2014. He recently retired after 29 years from a job he loved at UT. Lew was an Army CWO Cobra pilot who served our country in Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Jennifer (Michael); sons, Shaun (Robyn), Peter; nine grandchildren; mother, Ethel; and brothers, Robert (Debra), Allen (Ann), James (Barbara); and sister, Karlynn (Greg). Services will be held at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy 68, in Knoxville, on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 9:30 am.
