More detail on this person: Jacob Trevino Jacob Trevino Lubbock Avalanche-Journal (TX) - Sunday, January 20, 2013 Jacob Trevino, Jr. BURLESON- Jacob Trevino Jr., 68, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 with his family by his side. Jacob was the first in his family to graduate. He earned a diploma from Lorenzo High School, an undergraduate degree and a Master of Education from West Texas State University. Jacob served his country proudly as a Captain in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jacob taught school in Ingleside and Amarillo, Texas. He was the Athletic Director at Reese AFB in Lubbock, Texas, San Vito Air Station, San Vito, Italy, and McConnell AFB, Wichita, Kan. He retired from civil service in 2003. Jacob is survived by his wife, Valerie; children, Jacob Mike (Jennifer) Trevino, Jason (Michelle) Latter, Melissa (Eric) Bogle, Lori (Michael) Starr and Nicholas Latter; sister, Mary Lamour; and grandchildren, Austin, Colton, Kaylee, Emilee, Cody, Toni, Austin, Elissa, Annabell, and Raymond. Services will be at 9 a.m. January 24, 2013 at Genesis United Methodist Church, 7635 South Hulen St., Fort Worth, Texas. Interment, with military honors, will be at 11:30 a.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX.
