More detail on this person: David N. "Jr." Takahashi David N. "Jr." Takahashi, 54, of Honolulu, co-owner of Travel Adventures Inc., died last Monday in Queen's Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. Survived by son Sheldon; daughter Ranelle; mother Mildred M.; brothers Gilbert T. and Hal K. Memorial service: 6 p.m. Wednesday, Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers. (VHPA obituary researcher note: Prior to takeoff on my first UH-1H combat mission flight in Vietnam, "Tak" the aircraft commander looked over at me over the center console and said, "Don't look so smug.
