More detail on this person: Kenneth Charles Tiger LAFAYETTE - Kenneth Charles Tiger, 67, of Lafayette, died on Thursday, August 30, 2012 following a short illness. Ken was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on September 11, 1944. He was a graduate of the Crowley High School Class of 1962. Ken attended USL then received his degree in Political Science from LSU in 1967. While attending USL he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was a USAF pilot during the Vietnam War, serving in South Korea and Laos. After his honorable discharge he returned to his beloved Lafayette and USL Campus area until his death. Ken cherished his friends and enjoyed his passions of music, horticulture and photography. He was an avid free-lance photographer and taught a course in photography at USL's "Gumbo U". Survivors include his brother, John Tiger, wife Laurel, of Wichita, KS; and cousins, Donna Reeves of Sunset, Charles Reeves of Lafayette, Frank Reeves, Jr. of Plano, TX, Connie Rollosson McCay of Savannah, GA, and Curt Rollosson of Winston-Salem, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley A. and Donna M. Tiger, and a younger brother, Jeff, all of Crowley, Louisiana. A "Dutch Treat" Memorial and social to celebrate Ken's life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the "Filling Station" in downtown Lafayette.
