More detail on this person: Henry H Tomme, 89 Obituaries San Antonio Express-News (TX) - Sunday, March 15, 2009 US Army (Ret.) entered into rest March 12, 2009 in Livingston, Polk County, Texas at the age of 89. He was born November 5, 1919 in Livingston, Texas to the late Joshua C. Tomme & Ikie (Henington) Tomme. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Tomme in 2004 and sister Evelyn Actkinson. Survivors include his wife, Edna Tomme; son Mike Tomme & wife Rosario; grandchildren John and Sara Tomme; step children, Susan Smith, Bobbi Kirkland, Ollie Nell Gage, Jimmy Hennington; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 16 at Sunset Funeral Home, located at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 17th at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229.
