He attended Citadel Military College. Owned and operated a successful metal company selling and fabricating useable metals. Military rank Captain. Awarded bronze star and purple heart.

Survived by wife of 27 years, Rosemary, daughters Laura Nieves, Jennifer Miller, Kim Rotunno, mother, Marie Tompkins, 2 sisters, one brother, four grandchildren.

This information came from a local obituary for Kenny. He was a next door neighbor when we were growing up and we both went to the same high school. He graduated the year ahead of me. I had not seen him since high school though knew where his business was and what he did for a living. I have no idea what unit he served in or the dates of his tour.
