Trudeau, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 after a brief stay at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. He was born in and grew up in Newton Falls, New York. He began a career in the Army Air Corp during WWII where he flew B-24's over Europe. He continued his military service in the Army, flying helicopters in Korea and in Vietnam. After over two decades of service he retired and worked at CCAD for many more years as a test pilot and safety officer. He was very proud to have had the opportunity to serve for this country and has many honors, medals and achievements to show for his service. He was last stationed in Corpus Christi, where he chose to retire. He enjoyed spending time and caring for his wife, Reggie during his last few years. He also enjoyed every moment with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His loving family was everything to him. He was a pioneer member and usher of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He also enjoyed helping the community in a variety of ways, especially volunteering at Montclair Elementary School. Floyd was preceded in death by his son, David Trudeau and his older brother, Norman Trudeau and wife, Gloria. He was survived by his wife, Regene, by his sons: Richard Trudeau and wife, Patty of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mike Trudeau and wife Charlotte of Corpus Christi; his daughters, Jan Garber and husband, Bob of Galveston, Texas and Annette Kratko and husband Mike of Woodland Park, Colorado; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Trudeau Crecelius and husband, Sam of Corpus Christi; his brother, Ray Trudeau and wife, Shirley; his sister, Gladys Hall and husband Ed; his 11 grandchildren: Scott and wife Dory, Joel and wife Monica, Hollie and husband Trent, Nicole and husband Tommy, Julie and husband Matt, Stephanie and husband Chris, Kristina, Phillip, David and Cortney, Shaine, Michaela; and his seven great-grandchildren Kelsey, Abby, Ryan, Hannah, Allyson, Marin and David. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Seaside Memorial Park and Funeral Home with Rosary to follow in the Seaside Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Monday December 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
