UDECK OBITUARIES Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - Sunday, May 5, 1996 Michael Scott Udeck, 49, of 137 Wolfpoint Drive, Fayetteville, died Friday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He retired from the Army as a chief warrant officer, after 22 years of service, and received 22 military honors. Serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, Mr. Udeck was a helicopter pilot. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Post Cemetery at Fort Bragg by Chaplain J.O. Jernigan. Mr. Udeck is survived by his wife, Phyllis ''Mickey'' Udeck; a stepson, Jerry Puckett of Kannapolis; a stepdaughter, Deana Powell of Fayetteville; a brother, Donald Udeck of Fayetteville; his mother, Frances Lightfritz of Canton, Ohio; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
