He had spent time in April helping to build a church in Uruguay. He was a loving, caring and generous son, husband, father and grandfather who was loved and admired by all who knew him and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a self-made business professional whose strong moral integrity made him a highly respected builder/developer within the community and was co-owner of J.V. Custom Homes. He was a past president of Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association. He was an avid outdoorsman who lived life to the fullest by pursuing his passions of hunting, fishing and flying. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He was 60 when he passed away at Fort Smith, AR. All this data comes from his obit from the Morning News
