More detail on this person: Charles E Van Dusen VAN DUSEN, CHARLES E., 67, formerly of Minneapolis, died quietly September 23, 2004 at his home in Sanford, following a lengthy hospital fight with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Marion Van Dusen, he is survived by his brother George and sister-in-law Diane Van Dusen of Minnesota and his brother William and sister- in-law Jean of South Dakota. They were with him close to his death. Nieces, nephews and their children share his loss. A graduate of St. Albans School in Washington, DC, he attended Cornell University, the University of Minnesota and graduated from Troy State University. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War hero of three tours who left the Army as a major. Settling in the Orlando area, he worked as a computer consultant and managed investments. Graveside service is planned at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN at 2:45PM on October 23, 2004. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Dove Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements.
