More detail on this person: Victor K Voisine, 56 Obituaries Tampa Tribune, The (FL) - Saturday, September 24, 1994 VICTOR K. VOISINE, 56, of Brandon died Thursday at home. A native of Bay City, Mich., he moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1980 from Fort McPherson in Atlanta. He was retired from the Army after 27 years as a major, veteran of two tours during the Vietnam War and member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. He also was the recipient of the Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, 18 Air Medals, the Meritorious Service, Joint Service Commendation, Army Commendation, Good Conduct, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Armed Forces Expiditionary and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign medals, the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, two Overseas Service ribbons, the Army Service Ribbon, a Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Master Parachute and Senior Army Aviator badges. He is survived by his wife, Norma J.; two sons, Steven G. and Kevin J., both of Brandon; a daughter, Victoria V. Meredith of Valrico; his mother, Bessie of Bay City; three sisters, Shirley Cavanaugh of Essexville, Mich., Judith Gravlin of Bay City and Kathy Bigelow of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and two grandchildren. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
