More detail on this person: Wilfred Paul Woidyla Wilfred joined the U.S. Marines in August 1956, held 11 different ranks and retired as Major. He served in Vietnam and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart, 37 Air Medals and 9 other decorations. He retired from USMC in October 1976. Bill worked for civil air carriers from 1977 until 1999 when he retired as a Boeing 737 Captain at Continental Airlines. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Woidyla and Eleanor Cooper. He is survived by his wife Sandra Woidyla; daughters, Debra Ann Barham & husband Robert, Jeanette Marie Zodrow, Julia Ruth Vaughn & husband Patrick, Karen Coleman & husband John and Leslie Kathleen Crum; sons, Jamey Christopher Durham & wife Leah and Stephen Russell Milam & wife Jean; sisters, Lorraine Korus and Beverly Woidyla; brothers, Marvin and Bruce Woidyla; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
