More detail on this person: Gary L Witte, 62 Gary Witte Fremont Tribune (NE) - Thursday, August 16, 2007 A memorial graveside service for Gary L. Witte, 62, of Gilbert, Ariz., will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Hooper Cemetery. He died July 23, 2007, while on a fishing trip in Troy, Mont. He was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Omaha to Willard and Esther (Jordan) Witte. He grew up in Chicago and lived most of his adult life in Arizona. He had been active in the Arizona National Guard. Survivors include several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and grandparents. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate Saturday's service. American Legion Post 18 of Hooper and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10535 of Hooper/Winslow will provide military honors. Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
