More detail on this person: John Harold White Published in The News Courier, Athens, AL, Nov. 3, 2007 The funeral for John Harold White, 58, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church with Dusty McLemore, Randy Wilson and Dawn Wilso officiating. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery. Mr. White died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born June 26, 1949, to Hazen Leon White and Luella Arminta Guttery White in Rogersville. He was a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church. He was an Army helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He also worked as a Realtor for ReMax of Athens. He was preceded in death by his mother, Luella White; and a sister, Willene Casteel. He is survived by his wife, Leonel Wilbanks White of Athens; one daughter, Brittany Michelle McGee and husband Tim of Athens; one granddaughter, Alexas Grace McGee of Athens; his father, Hazen White of Rogersville; two brothers, Bobby White and wife Virginia, and Jimmy White and wife Omalou, all of Athens; and two sisters, Ree Sides of Athens and Rebecca White of Huntsville.
