More detail on this person: JEFFREY B. WESTERHOFF, 63 Senior Vice President with SRA Lt. Col., United States Army (Ret.) Jeffrey passed away on August 23, 2007 in Fredericksburg, VA after a six month battle with lung cancer. He was born on September 9, 1943 in Halden, NJ to John H. Westerhoff and Nona Walsh. Jeffrey graduated from the University of Tennessee. Jeffrey is a retired Army Lt. Col. with 20 years of service. His state side assignments included Joint Chiefs of Staff, J-4, Department of the Army, Army Staff, G-4, and the Inspector General's Office. He served overseas in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot in the 101st Aviation Company A Boomerang 5. His other overseas assignments were Okinawa and Germany. Jeffrey joined SRA in 1987 as a project manager for several system and software development efforts. At the time of his death, Jeffrey was a Senior Vice President and Director of SRA'S Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) program, was also program manager for Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIO-SP2), Information Technology Omnibus Procurement II (ITOP II), Millennia, Millennia Lite, and the General Services Administration's (GSA's) Multiple Award Schedules. In 2004, he was selected by Federal Computer Week to the Federal 100. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda M. Westerhoff; his son, Jeffrey Westerhoff; his daughter, Kathryn Gibson; his granddaughter, Annalena Gibson and his brother, The Rev. Dr. John H. Westerhoff. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, Friday, September 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been established at The Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering at George Mason University.
