More detail on this person: LTC (R) Eddie G. Walker; Aug. 13, 2011 LTC (R) Eddie G. Walker; Aug. 13, 2011 Madison County Record (AL) - Tuesday, August 16, 2011 LTC (R) Eddie G. Walker, 69, of Madison passed away Saturday, Aug. 13. Mr. Walker served 28 years in the United States Military; four years in the United States Air Force and 24 years in the United States Army, including two years of service in Vietnam. After his retirement in 1989 from the military, he served 20 plus years with L-3 Communications until 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Barbara Walker. Survivors include his wife, Millie Radford Walker; daughters, COL Teri A. Hassell and Debbie W. Evans; sons, Stephen A. Hassell, Ken W. Walker and Eddie G. Walker, II; sisters, Glenda Tate, Sheila Gross and Norma Henley; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following in the chapel. Memorials may be made to Big Oak Ranch, P.O.
