More detail on this person: Mike did not graduate from flight school, nor become a pilot. He started with Class 66-15, but was sent back to 66-17 and subsequently washed out. He then went to OCS, graduated, and was sent to RVN as an infantry Lt. On 9/19/1968 Mike was KIA. He was promoted to 1st Lt., posthumously. He was a Plt. Leader with the 25th Inf. Div. More details can be found on the Virtual Wall. in Hau Nghia Province.

Mike, Greg Waltz and I started flight school together and when Mike was held back a class, Greg and I volunteered to hold over to 66-17. Rucker couldn't take all of our 66-15 graduating class from Wolters. Mike graduated from the USAPHS at Wolters, but eventually washed out at Rucker.
