More detail on this person: Rusling Or Rusty' Wood IV, 65 Rusling "Rusty' Wood IV Helicopter pilot, 65 Star-Ledger, The (Newark, NJ) - Tuesday, May 11, 2010 OBITUARY Rusling Wood IV "Rusty," 65, of West Caldwell passed away Monday, May 10, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell. Cremation is private. Visiting is Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair. Rusty was born and raised in Montclair before moving to West Caldwell many years ago. He was a captain in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he served as a medical evacuation pilot. Mr. Wood recently retired in 2005 from Schering-Plough in Morristown, where he worked for 15 years as a helicopter pilot. Rusty is survived by his wife of 40 years, Caryl (nee Kelley), and his children, William Wood, Robert Wood, Christine Wood, and Suzanne Wood; a sister, Betsy Lidgey, and his grandchildren, Grant, Ella, Brett, Arianna, and Brielle.
