White Jr., 53, of Port St. Lucie died Saturday, May 3, 1997, in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. A native of Fall River, Mass., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 16 months. He moved here from Fort Pierce. He was an operations officer for Palm Beach International Airport. Before retirement from the Army, he was a major with 20 years of service. During that time, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded two Bronze Stars. He also retired as an airline pilot in 1995. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Kansas State University, Pittsburg. Survivors include his wife, Anne White of Port St. Lucie; his mother, Lydia R. White of Fort Pierce; a son, Patrick N. White of Sunrise, Fla.; two daughters, Christine J. White of Severn, Md., and Erin L. White of Topeka, Kan.; a sister, Robin L. White of West Newton, Mass.; and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. A Wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Burial will be in White City Cemetery.
