Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. LTC Wood is survived by his wife Leah Renfroe Wood, two daughters Maleah W. Simpson (Ken) and Juli W. Waddell (David), Grandaughter, Tassi Elizabeth Schroll (Derek), Natalie Kaye Simpson, Leah Michelle Simpson, Sarah Brooke Heindel and Laura Elizabeth Simpson, Great Granddaughters Emma Kate Schroll and Anna Claire Schroll. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Northside Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
