Ferguson - Doris McQuinton - Royal Lane South County Journal (Kent, WA) - Thursday, May 9, 2002 of Auburn died May 7, 2002, at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was 52. Born Jan. 13, 1950, in Newberg, Ore., Mr. Walcott graduated from Renton High School in 1969 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He lived in the South County area since 1968. Mr. Walcott worked as an electrician at Valley Electric and was a member of Electricians Union Local 46. He enjoyed fishing and math. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Walcott of Renton; stepdaughters Angie Cooper and Cathy Sampson, both of Seattle, and Tina Cooper of Renton; mother Gerry Streubel of Pahrump, Nev.; brothers Wayne Walcott of Bonney Lake, Larry Stigen of Pahrump, Nev., and T. J. Streubel of Reno, Nev.; sisters Elaine Sheridan of Boston, and Diane Olsen of Katie, Texas; and two grandchildren. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. today at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley. Inurnment will be at the cemetery. A second memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Renton. Memorials may be made to Northwest Harvest or the Swedish Tumor Institute. Arrangements are by American Memorial in Renton.
