More detail on this person: Donald Ray Wall, 66 Donald Ray Wall Nevada Appeal (Carson City, NV) - Friday, October 8, 2004 Donald Ray Wall, 66, a Gardnerville resident for the past 14 years, died Oct. 6, 2004, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno after a long illness. Mr. Wall was born July 23, 1938, in Tribbette, Okla., to Odell and Joy Dearmore Wall. He enjoyed cars, planes and guns. He earned a master's degree in aviation. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1984 and served as a test pilot at Fort Ord, Calif. Mr. Wall was a member of the Sierra Sagebrush Flyers, the Disabled American Veterans, the National Rifle Association and the Valley Cruisers. Among his survivors are his wife Madgelean of Gardnerville; daughter Christine Rodriguez of San Jose, Calif.; son Steven Cokley of Gardnerville; sister Susie McConniel of Timbo, Ark., and seven grandchildren. No services will be held. Donations in his memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45250-0301. Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
