Webster, 61, Old Madisonville Road, died at 1:24 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A native of Elkhorn, Wis., he was born Aug. 10, 1948, the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Faust Webster. He was a farmer and retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4, and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the New Palestine Baptist Church. His first wife, Carlene Webster, died in 2005. Survivors include his wife, Faye Webster; three sons, Michael Webster, Bowling Green, Craig Byers, Earlington, Charles Byers, Pikeville; four daughters, Laura Shelton, Cadiz, Kathy Beymer, Hopkinsville, Megan Gilbert, Frankfort, Mary Spanner, Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Carl Webster, Silvis, Ill.; three sisters, Thelma Potton, Detroit, Mich., Margaret London, Clinton, Wis., Laura Davis, Minneapolis, Minn., and 18 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 982, Hopkinsville, KY 42241.
