More detail on this person: I am Maj. Waddell's
youngest daughter. He died in his home on
11/21/88. He was survived by his wife, Wilba
Nelle Waddell, son, Jayson Keith, and daughters,
Helen Marie Waddell, Danelle Waddell, and Tiana
Marie Waddell. I am trying to uncover information
from his service in the army, specifically during
the Vietnam War. As I recover it, I would be
proud to share. He didn't discuss his 2 terms,
covering 3 years, over there, but I will do my
best to find out what I can. My oldest sister has
had cds made of old reel-to-reel tapes he made
while on tour. It's very interesting to hear some
of the background noise, which sometimes seems
to be artillery. This information was last updated 05/18/2016

Thanks for posting names on a website! Those that
were blessed enough to make it back home, didn't
get much recognition. My father volunteered for
that 2nd term and was proud to make it. He flew a
huey, although I'm not sure yet what kind. I have
plaques somewhere and will be doing my best to
find them, as my 4 young children wish to see
their grandfather's war accomplishments.
