Cause of death: Cardiopulmonary Arrest due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease.

We returned from a three year tour in Augsburg, Germany in 1966, where he served in the 24th Infantry Div as a fixed wing pilot. Assigned to Ft. Bragg to a unit, the 187th Aviation where he and others transitioned to helicopters, Hueys. The unit left in 1967 for Vietnam and he returned to Bragg in the Fall of 1968.

Vietnam Service: 187th Aviation Co, formed and deployed out of Ft. Bragg, NC years: Late Fall 1967- Fall 1968.

I believe the unit was stationed at Cu Chi.
