More detail on this person: A/C crashed in flames during a rain storm near the NE fringe of San Antonio after dropping off an automobile wreck victim at a local hospital. Jimmy Warren SAN ANTONIO - Jimmy Warren, of Fritch, was killed in a helicopter accident near here early Saturday. He was a part of an Army team which had delivered a medical patient to an area installation, said spokesmen. He was a Phillips High School graduate, and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Warren of Fritch. The soldier was scheduled to return to Fritch this weekend for a holiday visit. The helicopter crashed during a rainstorm while en route from Brookes Air Force Base, San Antonio, to Ft. Hood. (Published in Borger News Herald, September 4, 1967) ----- FRITCH - Military funeral services for Warrant Officer James G. Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Warren of 501 Longwood, will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Gadsden, Ala. Warren was the victim of a fatal helicopter crash near San Antonio early Saturday. He was a part of an Army team which had delivered a medical patient to an installation there, spokesmen said. The helicopter crashed during a rainstorm while en route from Brookes Air Force Base, San Antonio, to Ft. Hood near Killeen, Warren's duty station.
